Korea artificial intelligence (AI) autonomous manufacturing Robotics corporations SFA Engineering Corporation will partner with Rainbow Robotics to jointly develop AI autonomous manufacturing and robot technology.
On the 30th, SFA Engineering Corporation said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Rainbow Robotics for “mutual cooperation in AI autonomous manufacturing and robot technology.”
Under this agreement, SFA Engineering Corporation will collaborate in intelligent logistics and manufacturing software operating systems and AI autonomous manufacturing Robotics, while Rainbow Robotics will collaborate in high-performance robot hardware and ultra-precision robot control technology.
The two companies plan to jointly research and develop AI autonomous manufacturing and robot-related technologies, and also carry out joint sales and marketing activities to boost business.
Under the agreement, SFA Engineering Corporation plans to advance its advanced robot logistics solution to move up its goal of achieving full unmanned operations, previously set for 2030.
SFA Engineering Corporation also said it expects Rainbow Robotics to secure sales channels for its robots through cooperation with SFA Engineering Corporation, which holds market power in manufacturing equipment.
An SFA Engineering Corporation official said, “Aiming to achieve full unmanned operations, we are working to internalize core technologies across the entire spectrum of robot logistics in manufacturing and distribution,” adding, “By adding joint development of robot-related technologies with Rainbow Robotics and responding to a wider range of customer needs, we will lead AI autonomous manufacturing Robotics technology in the global market.”
